One of our specialist training aids is the
'Black Box'. This new design concept has proven to be crucial in the classroom when trainees require hands-on experience.
This unique training aid consists of a compact yet robust black plastic box containing its own internal wiring circuit and power source. Each box displays a different type of trigger mechanism. This trigger is the switch that will detonate a bomb (represented by a small light bulb) and although perfectly safe, the 'Black Box' graphically demonstrates that not following SOPs or inappropriate handling of a device will easily initiate an explosion.

As part of our Weapons Awareness and Recognition Programmes, PS5 can supply information on Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) photographic images, component parts and X-ray correct training models.

These highly sensitive training aids will only be made available to law enforcement agencies, government bodies and approved organisations.
